Tasteful décor featuring Adirondack touches, with colors reminiscent of brook trout. Impressive views out the back of Whiteface Mountain create a serene atmosphere.
The restaurant was closed during our stay, which meant missing out on outdoor dining overlooking the river. After returning from a morning coffee run, our room keys were deactivated even though we were back well before check-out time, which caused a hassle. Additionally, the food was a letdown. the trout served at dinner did not meet expectations, leaving us feeling like we overspent on a meal we could've better cooked ourselves. The noise from neighboring rooms occasionally pierced the quiet, which might bother those looking for a tranquil retreat.

I was disappointed by the dirty room conditions. Dust and spider webs were everywhere, making it feel neglected.

would love to go back
Room was cozy with three beds, and the private bathroom had a shower and plenty of toiletries. Loved the outdoor pool and view of the mountains. Restaurant served amazing, freshly prepared dishes with cool local flavors. The area was pet-friendly with easy access to the Ausable River for fun activities. Can't wait to return!

We had an amazing time staying here with friends! We hiked up Whiteface Mountain and explored the scenic Au Sable River. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the freshly prepared food was a hit with everyone. Don't miss the local fishing shops for guided adventures! Perfect for a budget group trip with great views and plenty of activities.

Perfect Location for Friends' Getaway
Fantastic spot for our group of friends! The scenic views and accommodating staff made our hiking trip memorable. The nearby river offered adventurous fishing opportunities.
Unfortunately, the cleanliness was a slight issue. I found dust in hidden corners that could have used more attention. Also, the shower curtain seemed questionable between guests.

The location on Ausable Creek is amazing. I loved the view from my room. The walk-in shower had great water pressure. The bed was comfortable for sleeping, and the room felt dark and cozy at night. Nice that they offered K-cups and a Keurig in the room. However, I noticed the Keurig wasn't clean when I arrived, and I had to clean it before using it. Also, I was unsure if the shower curtain had been changed between guests. A microwave in the room would really have added to the convenience. The restaurant was closed during my visit, which was disappointing since I was looking forward to having dinner by the river. It seems like a great place to unwind outside, but I did notice some wear on the playground equipment. it could use some repairs. Still, the scenery and local shops made my stay worthwhile. Would consider returning if the restaurant situation improves.

Rustic, Rustic, Rustic
I loved the authentic rustic charm everywhere I looked! The amazing views of the Whiteface Mountain right from my Beautiful Queen Room were fine. The cozy fire in the restaurant, paired with mouthwatering dishes like the Grand Marnier Trout, captured the essence of the mountains. 🐟✨

The mountain views were absolutely breathtaking! 🌄 However, the room's heating wasn't great, making for a chilly night. Still, I'd gladly return for those views alone!
